Competition Day Checklist

1. Load in

  1. Have proper plan for getting robot ready, tuned radio etc.
  2. Have mallets out and in car cabin
  3. Truck driver stays at trailer coordinates unloading
  4. Unloading means quickly bringing into pit and coming back to grab more
  5. Bring out structure first start setting up asap
  6. Once structure is up with shelves, bring in electrical and mechanical toolboxes
  7. Start bringing totes/other items in on dollies and carts
  8. Unpack carts and bring back to trailer for another load
  9. Make sure truck, trailer, and truck bed are fully unpacked
  10. When unpacking totes, set in middle, one or two people take stuff out, saying what shelf they go on, and then another person standing stationary places in the shelf
  11. Make stack of empty totes outside of pit
  12. Stack items that need to be brought back to trailer on gray dolly
  13. Bring gray dolly/other items back to trailer
  14. Park trailer and truck

2. Radio Configuration

  • Bring a second radio for easier swapping.
  • Remember to obtain the robot Wi-Fi password while configuring radio.

3. Field Calibration

Supplies Needed:

  • Ethernet spool
  • Hot glue gun
  • Tape measure
  • One of each scoring element
  • Programming laptop
  • Battery-powered Ethernet switch

Steps:

  1. Follow the Calibration Guide for the Robot (This is in the robot's README.md)
  2. Limelights can use USB: http://172.28.0.1:5801

5. Load out

We pack the pit after finals are complete.

Pit Packing

  1. Set some mallets and flush cutters aside
  2. Set aside step ladder
  3. Set aside broom and dustpan
  4. Layout all totes in numbered order
  5. Put tubs in totes according to their number
  6. Close totes once complete
  7. Set aside boxes without a tote label until later
  8. Get gray dolly and stack all completed totes (2x3 totes)
  9. Put quick grab hardware (i.e. rivets) in tool boxes
  10. Move tool boxes out of pits
  11. Clip shelving zip ties
  12. Make stack of wood shelves
  13. Remove laptop and controllers from driver stations
  14. Pack controllers in special box
  15. Take sign off pit via step ladder (4 person job)
  16. Take down rest of structure
  17. Stats box goes in trailer trunk
  18. Media stuff stays with media car (tripod goes in trailer trunk)
  19. Sweep up pits
